Who We Are
We are Viadat LLC, provider of store locator software, WordPress Store Locator – LotsOfLocales™, enabling developers to build websites displaying and managing important locations on a map searchable by a website’s visitors.
This privacy policy covers viadat.com and its subdomains.
What Personal Data We Collect and Why We Collect It
We collect license key activation data, this includes:
- Web domain on which the license was activated
- License key(s)
- Name of the product(s) being activated
When a product is purchased via credit card, our credit card payment processor, Stripe (privacy policy | GDPR compliance), securely collects:
- Name of purchaser
- Zip / postal code
- Last four digits of credit card number
We collect this information in order to provide services to our site visitors and customers needing to purchase and validate their software and to improve how we provide these services over time. Below, there are options to opt-out of tracking, where provided to us, for each analytics service. You may also turn on your browsers ‘Do Not Track’ option for additional exclusion.
When visitors leave use the contact form on the site we collect the data shown in the contact form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
Cookies
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
We collect data about traffic to our site via tools such as Google Analytics, WordPress Stats, Clicky Web Analytics, Slimstat, Inspectlet, and Hotjar. More detail provided below.

- Visitor IP addresses are collected by Automattic (parent company to WordPress.com), but not visible to us, the site owner, and are retained by Automattic for 28 days, for:
- JetPack / WordPress Stats (privacy policy | GDPR compliance)
For users that register on our website (if any), we store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot delete their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Your IP address may be collected temporarily by Automattic Inc. for their JetPack / WordPress.com stats feature. Your site usage information and browsing and/or viewing habits may be transmitted to Google LLC, a GDPR-compliant, US-based company. If signing up for our newsletter, the data you provide is transferred to MailChimp, a GDPR-compliant, US-based company. If purchasing one of our products, your data will be transferred to either Stripe, PayPal (privacy policy | GDPR compliance), or Amazon Pay (privacy policy | GDPR compliance), each GDPR-compliant, for necessary processing to complete the purchase.
We protect your data via a SSL data connection using SHA-256 with RSA encryption. Data is hosted in a private, safe, and secure datacenter. Additionally, all data collected by third parties is encrypted during transmission.
